About FABNET

The Frederick Area Bridal Network (FABNET), located in Frederick, MD, was created in 2003 with the purpose of providing a complete information/shopping resource for engaged couples. In turn, we provide local wedding professionals powerful means by which they may offer their services to engaged couples in their continued effort to grow their businesses.

We are not limited to wedding but our vendors also provide EVENT services! 

Benefits for Our Couples

Through our website, www.frederickareabridal.net, we offer a complete wedding professional listing by category which simplifies the shopping process for our couples. The couple then may click on any member and be linked to their business’ page on the FABNET site. This link provides the information a couple will need to get started planning heir wedding. From this business page, a user will be provided with a link directly to the member’s professional website for more detailed information.

Special Offer for Our Couples

With all the expenses involved in planning a wedding or event, wouldn’t it be nice to get a little break? Contract services with at least three (3) of our members and receive a discount or gift from each. Ask each wedding professional for more details.

Benefits For Our Members

Members enjoy the benefits of their own listing and webpage on the FABNET website that may link potential  customers directly to their own professional website.

Group advertising is periodically done during the year  which allows us to secure price discounts.

Since 2007, FABNET has produced our annual Fall Wedding Showcase, on the first Sunday of every November.

General membership meetings are held on the on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Monthly meetings include networking time followed by a business meeting. Meetings may include  an educational presentation or round table discussion on a large variety of wedding/business related topics or Member’s Spotlights that allow individual members to present their business and business features to members in attendance.

Members are required to attend at least four meetings annually to be considered a member in good standing.

The Frederick Area Bridal Network strives to provide for our couples with high quality information and to provide a shopping resource in order that they may effortlessly research and choose their wedding professionals. The Network also strives to aid its members in developing their businesses with an emphasis on professional ethics, continuing education and advertising opportunities.

  • Communicate completely and honestly with customers regarding prices, what the service or product includes and the contents of the contract.
  • Return phone calls and electronic inquiries promptly.
  • Honor all agreements made with customers and suppliers.
  • Observe all laws and obtain and maintain any license(s) required by law to properly conduct business.
